Stripes and Circles is reviewed in I.D. this month:
“Circles, the first in an ongoing series (Squares,Checks and Grids is due later this year), begins with a quote from Henry James. “In art, economy is always beauty.” The same goes for these petite chronicles of pattern. The authors ascribe higher meaning to shapes-circles represent halos or fertility; stripes signify membership and belonging-but wisely let the pictures do most of the talking. The photographs delight, mixing architectural cladding with Adidas logos, billiard balls with Ball chairs.”
